Me and my boo!!!!

a lil' behind....

Okay yea, i have fallen off the wagon of updating our blog! BUT NO MORE.....over the next few posts, i will make updates, post lots of pictures......

Just a lil update now, we are still together....still going strong, and growing older! I recently accepted a job as photographer with LifeTouch Preschool Portraits, and i love it! I am learning so much about photography, its GREAT! Shannon is still doing his "thang" with all the cars....we have the second Camaro in the works and is coming along quite well...i am just glad he isnt as gone as much as he was with the first one!

The kiddos are doing good, growing like weeds! We also added to our little crew with a new lil Pup....His name is Hot Rod...aka Lil' Man....he completes our little crew and i just couldnt be more happy!

Lately............

Lets see.....recently Shannon and i have both made new career choices....he is still working on cars but has joined the team at Restorod and Collision in Fayetteville. He loves it cause he gets to work on the old cars which are his favorite. I have taken a position with LifeTouch Photography...i have joined Georgia's South team as a photographer working with the Pre School division. I am really enjoying it. Still trying to get used to the early mornings, but over all really enjoying photography and all the kiddos! We are all getting excited that car show season is just around the corner...we have our first car show this month at Restorod...their First Annual car show....way to go guys!

Update on the times......

This past weekend, was such a good weekend. It's not usual that i get to spend a whole weekend with my man, but this weekend was a nice exception. Friday night was filled with many episodes of Ghost Adventures....i am a sucker for that show and he politely sits there and watches with me...there is always the occasional skeptical comment he makes though :) the kids were very good and did art projects in their room! Saturday slept in a little...and the kids and i watched some tv while, he watched his airbrushing dvd's! We then headed north for some family fun.....TGI Fridays and Toy's R Us...let me just say i will always return for some Toys R Us fun, but i will never again return to TGI Friday's. I have been to this restaurant a time or two before and do not remember it being soo GROSS! Also when we got seated at our table we watched as the waiter fussed with the front of the house for sitting someone else in his section...then proceeded to come take our drink order and fuss about how he has been there all day and still had to work night and they needed to cut him some slack????I realize that the food industry is not an easy job, but you dont tell your paying customers, esp the ones you rely on for tips to enhance your base pay how frustrated you are that they sat us in your section....come on! After that our food reached the table and it was just beyond words gross...ANYWAYS....some 'car shopping' at Toy's R Us cheered up our spirits and rumbling tummies and we enjoyed a nice quiet ride home...and then more Ghost Adventure episodes when we got home. Sunday was a day of cooking and coming across The Walking Dead Marathon on AMC....this was the first time either of us had watched this show, and lets just say we were glued and i am a follower of this show now...can not wait till next Sunday! I was able to watch the man airbrush a little more...thats always a favortie of mine! I am looking forward to tomorrow its Valentines Day and its Shannon and my 2nd V Day together...some Mr. Fugi with the parents! Yum Yum..i get my scallops and fried rice! I have spent most of today making Shannon's present and i am now wondering what will take super glue off my fingers tips...ugh. I hope he likes his gift though!

A lot of the weekend was spent doing "weekend work" with Maddox for school....i will be one happy mama once he gets the hang of this math...i am tired of doing 2nd grade homework....GEEE!!!!!!!
